We discovered the Lot-et-Garonne and its gentle pace of life after spending an unforgettable week with our wine club in neighbouring Dordogne in the summer of 2019.

During our house-hunting trip, it was Caubel that ultimately ticked all our boxes. The property’s historic appeal, pristine gardens, vast views of the countryside and excellent location left us no doubt that it would be the ultimate setting for all kinds of gatherings and retreats. Caubel’s proximity to vineyards and colourful markets (there’s one taking place in a nearby village almost every day) would also mean ample opportunities for our guests to indulge in the area’s delectable food and wine.
